Silver Foil
A full range of the current thicknesses of high purity silver foil available is listed in the table below. Of particular note and our most popular product, is the super-thin film in thickness 0,011mm (11 microns), studied specifically to satisfy current market requirements.
The strip of foil is perfectly flat with a bright, defect-free surface. Its compact grain-structure guarantees excellent results even for the most complicated of deforming operations. The material is wound perfectly around aluminium tubes (external diameter approx 125mm, internal approx 120mm).
Considering the fine thicknesses thatwe are now capable of manufacturing, we recommend that the material is treated with the greatest of care and that the coils/tubes are always stocked in a horizontal position.

Coupled bi-metal Ag/Al sheets
We have a specific division specialised in the coupling process of fine silver foil Ag 999‰ to aluminium to create bi-metal sheets. All standard thicknesses of silver foil can be coupled to 0,3mm and 0,5mm-thick aluminium. The bi-metal sheets are cut to specific lengths
- and covered with a low-tack plastic laminate
- which can be left on for stamping/deforming stages
