We are a point of reference in the market for the production of silver plates, strips, wires, anodes and many other semi-finished products for goldsmiths-silversmiths, galvanics and industrial applications.

Our experience and deep passion for silver, combined with our high quality standards, constant quality control and speed of delivery, has enabled us to develop an extensive worldwide sales network.

We continually meet new challenges and forge silver in the most varied shapes, sizes and purities for many areas of use in order to realize the wishes and needs of our customers.

Our History

1992

The Greggio International Group acquires a manufacturer of sheets and strips based in Altavilla Vicentina and it is subsequently transferred to Veggiano, in the province of Padua.

1996

With its constant desire for growth and development, the production of silver wire is introduced, in its various shapes and sizes.

1998

Among the first in its sector, La.Met introduces the production of super thin silver foil, a leading product which consolidates it on the national and international market.

2001

The company finds its definitive headquarters in Caselle di Selvazzano (Padua), where the entire operating unit is currently located.

2006

The company begins its sustainable development process, which will characterize it over the years, by installing a 199 KWP photovoltaic system.

2021

As Greggio Gruppo International, it’s working to obtain the RJC certification, sharing its vision of ethical excellence, respect for fundamental human rights and environmental protection.

MISSION

Our objective is to spread the properties of this fabulous metal throughout the world, tackling new challenges with professionalism, in order to give life to ambitious projects, both in the traditional silverware sector and in the industrial and medical fields.

Our mission is closely connected to our responsibility as a company: the use of cutting-edge technologies and expert scientific knowledge allows us to obtain the best results while respecting the quality of the products and of the planet.

We are committed to making everyone aware of this, to promote the sustainable development of our actions, with responsibility and commitment, in a continuous exchange of techniques and skills in order to obtain the lowest environmental impact.

For this we have a 199 KWP photovoltaic system.

We have voluntarily complied with the RJC ethics certification process and code of conduct. The goal is to produce and use only 100% recycled precious metal, coming exclusively from a controlled supply chain with responsible sourcing certified by the Responsible Jewelery Council‘s Chain of Custody

SAFETY

The attention to the details and the promotion of training courses as well as the use of sophisticated and avant-garde equipment allows us to maintain high-speed performance in total care and safety in the workplace, remaining constantly active in research and development of new improvement processes.
